Honchos Shallcross

Good day, Today I visited the Honchos branch in Shallcross, it is a new store and the adverti*****ts are in my area. I stood in the que for 30 minutes, and thereafter placed my order at 16h35, I proceeded to wait and finally got my meal at 18h10. That means it took over 90 minutes just to get a chicken meal, I am not complaining about that as the store was busy. I got home after the long wait looking forward to a delicious meal as this was the first time I have purchased Honchos chicken. I together with my family was deeply disappointed, I was offered only 2 options, it was either mild or hot, the flavours you advertise on the boards was not offered to us, so I took the mild option, The chicken basically had no flavour at all, there was hardly any basting or sauce on it, and it was very bland, I had to use my own nandos sauce on it to make the meal edible. The chips were very glassy, it's either the potatoes used to make it was not a good quality, or the chips were not cooked fully. The buns were stale, not fresh and soft, but rather hard and chewy.

When I asked to speak to the manager, the following was told to me, 'the manager is sitting in the office and is hiding from the customers' , the staff member who told me that is called Maureen.

For a new franchise in our area, I sincerely hope something can be done, or is this just how Honchos is? I would appreciate some feedback on this.
