No Customer service

<p>I would like to report terrible service and even worse products been sold be Homemark stores.</p> <p> </p> <p>I purchased a Proline straightener cost of R299.00 on 28/04/2017</p> <p>I have been unable to get any use out of the item. I asked the staff member about the return policy and was told that the item can be returned up to 12 months. He did not nor did the lady with him inform me that they have only a 7 day policy. I tried to return the item yesterday 21/05/2017 and was told they will send a NEW PRODUCT in for repairs. The staff in the store called the store manager on the phone and used a language I did not understand which I believe is unprofessional because I have the right to know what was been said. I was then basically called a **** and told that he does not believe that the staff member who sold the product did not mention the 7 days. The lady in the store with him was present at the sale where I was given a handwritten receipt and said she has no idea she was busy with another client. She was the one who put the item in a bag and handed it to me while the other staff member swiped my card, there were no other clients present at the time. I called head office today which took more than two hours to get the correct person on the phone who said I must understand that it is Monday. The service received is completely unacceptable as they are insistent on sending the item for repairs. This is unacceptable as I do not understand why an item less than a month old not used has to go for repairs. No effort is been made to be helpful and no mention of even replacing what must be a faulty item. I now am still waiting for a Manager to contact me. At this point I do not want the item, I want my money back and I will never purchase any items from any Homemark store. I had planned on spending money on new pots from the store which I will not be doing. I want the company addressed for the *********** unhelpful staff they employ and the ******* they are seling.</p> <p> </p>
