Homemark - Your Mark Of Quality - NOT!

I've been trying to get someone from Homemark to help me with 2 of the items purchased from their online store since Dec 2016. I resigned to the fact that this was the worse month to try to get anywhere due to the holiday period and should be patient and pick it up again in the new year. I've now being trying al Feb 2017 to try to help and its been a nightmare to say the least.

If someone took the time to view my profile, they would notice that I've purchased from their site a few times and someone to consider as a worthy client. All I'm looking for is some sort of assistance due to a returning customer. Any explanation or help to move forward.

I purchased a Steam Cleaner and a Hand-held sewing machine late 2015 I believe and I wasn't able to make use of it due to moving into new premises. I got married in Jan 2016 and later that year got a chance to finally open and use these products.

I was dissapointed to find out that the steam cleaner did not spray the detergent put in the unit as advertised on the box and the Sewing machine stiched on top of itself and almost knotted the cotton.

I contacted Homemark to ask them how they could help me knowing these items were purchased a while before I actually made use of them. I was advised that they could possibly try to repair the items for me and to drop off at one of the stores - either in Richards Bay or Chatsworth. I told them I won't be able to get to these two areas as they are far from where I live, and was then directed to the Homemark rep Jeethen who would be able to help.

He asked me to go to my nearest store which had a Homemark stand (PnP Hyper By the Sea Dbn, North) to drop off the items. At the store the lady called Jeethen as she was not aware of this process for online purchases and I was then advised that I had to contact the online store again for alternate instructions.

I spoke to Sherise who said I needed to speak with Morne, who I never got a hold off and eventually found my way to Bernice who was no help at all. I had to call back nearly every day for 2 weeks when she always said she needed guidance from her manager.

Eventually today I spoke to her again and she now tells me to go to Richards Bay or Chatsworth to drop off the items. Again I told her I've been through all of this previously and cannot make my way to eaither store unfortunately. She said, "well then I don't know what you're going to do, we cannot help because its an old purchase". She then transferred me to her manager for assistance and the ended.

I'm tired of calling them back and hence my review here.

My point is that I cannot use these products and I need someone to be accoutable and give me something to work with, not just pushed from one end to another. These items cost money and I would appreciate some consideration in allowing me to feel like I've purchased value - the Steam Cleaner I believe was about R500-600.

Any help you can offer me is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Naeema
