Homemark - Trade Route Mall a disgrace

We purchased a Milex Ambience Heater on 21 May 2024. We were informed that it was a demo but if we have any issues we can return the product. When I started using the heater, I saw that the remote was not working and the buttons on the top. Went in (22 May 2024) to return the item. The sales consultant, Thato, on duty started being rude and told us we cannot return it or exchange it. It is a demo. If it is a demo why sell it then without a proper return policy in place!!!

He then went on to shouting and being rude and aggressive, when we informed him we will take it up with head office suddenly Thato said he will call to enquire but proceeded to being rude to us. I have been on a call for 9mins and no one at Homemark head office has picked up the call.

How is your business run? Does Homemark not have competent staff to handle customer queries? Really disappointed with the service provided.
