Homemark.. Incorrect product sold due to lack of product knowledge

On the 11/04/2019 I bought medismart hydro vacuum at homemark traderoute mall. Upon my visit to the store I specifically told Zongi Ncedana that I have white upholstery couches and carpet and I'm in need of a deep cleaner vacuum so to wash them. He pointed me to the above mentioned product and told me that it is a deep cleaner and it's the best and even assured me that it's suction power is better compared to the glomail deep cleaner ... Convinced by his confidence in this product I bought it.... Now because I had no reason to doubt it I only used it on the 3rd of May 2019 only to discover that I was misinformed regarding this product. I went back to the store on Saturday the 4th and he was still addament that this is a deep cleaner which is not the truth.. So I sent an email to the head office and requested that my money be refunded ASAP so I may go elsewhere and purchase a correct product. A gentleman by the name of Sifiso handled the matter and now I'm was informed that the sales man said he told me it wasn't a deep cleaner and I still took it anyway... Why would I specifically ask for a deep cleaner and knowingly pay R3500 for a hoover that wouldn't keep my couches clean.clearly the sales man won't take responsibility and is choosing to lie.. All I want is my money back so I may buy a deepcleaner elsewhere
