I bought a Milex 25l Rotisserie Airfryer from Takealot on the 1st of December which comes with a 12 month warranty.

The airfryers galvanising started peeling fairly early on, there is oxidation and huge rust spots.

I returned it to Takealot, not for a refund but to swop for another brand. it came back to me wasting so much time. I was told that it was sold by Homemark who now has had the unit for 12 days and they say their technicians are testing to see if harsh detergents were used on the galvanised steel.

This is so ridiculous, have they been testing for 12 whole days? My husband is a welder and says he would love to know what gets galvanising off his steel as it does not budge. These people seem to be stalling to find a reason not to replace the airfryer.

I have done research and there are so many people on Hellopeter and other platforms complaining about the same problem on the same Milex model.
