Defective juicer, refuse to refund
I purchased the demo juicer from Homemark. The juicer was sold as a demo, but not defective in any way therefore I purchased it, albeit against my better judgement as I have had numerous experiences with homemark products where it does not do what its supposed to do. I got home and when i attempted to use the juicer, pulp had spilled all over the machine, onto and into all the nooks and crannies including the motor. The juicer has a special compartment for pulp, it is not meant to spill all over, especially not from the first use! I cleaned up the machine and returned it back to the store in 3 days, with my receipt, and the assistant claims this is how the machine works, and refused to take it back. I have since purchased a russell hobbs juicer from Game, what a pleasure! In terms of the CPA, the juicer from Homemark is defective, and I am entitled to a refund, replacement or repair, its my call. I would like a refund.
Please be informed that we regretfully do not offer refunds on discounted demo units at all. I would not be able to comment whether or not the instructions were followed correctly when you used the product?
If you feel that the machine is defective we will gladly have it assessed and if we find that the unit was defective when sold to you we will then re look the matter.
