Be very careful buying at Homemark

I saw an advert for a slim Freezer machine available at Game, Dischem etc.. I called my local Dischem at Fourways and asked about availability of the machine. I was told they have no idea about these machines and that Homemark had no arrangement with Dischem to stock or sell these machines and that this was a normal means to try and force the group to sell the product after many customer queries.<br> There is a Homemark in Fourways also and I visited to ask about the product. I quickly realised that pricing on the Homemark site and in a store do not tally it is much cheaper in the store...BUT you cannot return the product and get your money back if you wish, which as I understand the consumer law is *******, you can only get a voucher back if you are not satisfied, a means of tying you into the Company. The product takes a month to supposedly show a result - so you can get stuck with it if it does not perform....SO BE VERY VERY aware and careful before buying under these terms and conditions and it would seem advertising big group outlets is a big misrepresentation as well
