The Cryptic Nature of the Betting World.
Understandably the aim of the business is to make money - more so for HollywoodBets and attracting new customers while keeping existing ones is paramount to any company's continued existance.
But this company motivated me to take bets and and to make a deposit with the promise of a 15% bonus. After having deposited the amount of my choosing, one of the conditions is that I "can not withdraw from my deposit and bonus that I received".
Granted, I had not read through the conditions of the promotion before making the deposit, but this condition still leaves me with more questions than answers.
Two of the biggest questions for me being "If I don't lose my deposit + bonus, how long will I be unable to withdraw from it? Does this mean in turn mean I'll maintain a balance I can't withdraw?"
These questions arise because after a weekend of heavy gaming - wins and losses - I have made a profit on my account but am still unable to withdraw as a result of the condition mentioned above.
Does this not then by extension mean that I either lose the money or leave it on the account but cannot withdraw?
After numerous engagements with the HollywoodBets team on WhatsApp, non of the team members have provided me with answer to these two questions so I have money I won but can't use.

Just to clarify our 15% Bonus Terms and Conditions, and the promotion itself.
Hollywoodbets has run this promotion for well over 10 years, and three times a year, coinciding with all the major horse racing days - The Sun Met, Vodacom Durban July, and Gauteng Summer Cup. This has been an initiative that we run to reward and thank our customers for their support.
The Hollywoodbets promotion intention with the bonus is not for the customer to lose.
The promotion clearly explains that the client needs to turnover their deposit and the bonus amount at least once before they can withdraw from their account.
This means that if you deposit R100, and get a R15 bonus, you will need to bet at least R115 in total bets before you can withdraw from your account.
Therefore if your bets are winning or losing, only once the R115 has been played, you can withdraw from your account. If you have winning bets that exceed your deposit amount, and you wish to withdraw, we can look into it on a case-by-case basis.
We do also offer to our clients the option of removing the bonus from the account, should they have misunderstood the bonus, and its purpose.
Should you feel that you have covered the terms and conditions, and you feel that you should be allowed to withdraw from your account, we will gladly get one of our team members to address the situation, and assist you with the withdrawal.
