R10.00 for YEARS of loyalty
I’ve been a loyal Hollywoodbets customer for years, having deposited thousands of Rands into my account over time. I’m not a sore loser — I know betting doesnt mean a guaranteed win, and I’ve probably only ever won back about 1/8 of what I’ve put in. But hey, you play for the entertainment, right?
What really pushed me to write this review, though, is today — my birthday.
After all this time and money spent with them, Hollywoodbets “rewards” me with a R10 voucher and an additional R50 (but only if I deposit another R100 — and it’s limited to sports betting only).
Seriously? Is that the best you can do?
It feels like a slap in the face. No real appreciation for long-time customers, no meaningful rewards, and absolutely no recognition of the loyalty I’ve shown to this platform over the years.
If you’re going to market yourselves as customer-focused, at least make an effort to act like it.

I've gotten a call from Hollywood bets. They've stated that the reason I received R10.00 as a bonus is because that's what the managers have decided to give me.
I tried using the chatbot on the site.
I was behind 148 people in the queue.
10 minutes later? 85
13 minutes later? 60
4 minutes later? I'm next. Great.
Wrong.
I was pushed behind 27.
I've read that in order to qualify for a bonus, I've got to deposit R100 or more and play for 3 consecutive months.
Right, so R15k is not more than R100??????? And YEARS is not longer than 3 months. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
