Poor planning Hollywood bets

Hi..! , I am Andrew a Durbanite just having fun with the spouse..and Some friends who attended the 2023 July At Greyville Race Course, I was rather shocked at the exorbitant prices people were charged for food and liquor.Yes, you want to make money with all means but there has to be a thresh-hold at pricing... Eg Paid for 12xvedas, 12xmince samoosas and 4xbuddy coke cola's =Yes!! you are the winner!!, no.. the seller getz R280.. Wow.. What the SPACE ****IN is this. I am here to spend and have fun. So that was around 09.30 as the proverbial saying goes... early bird catches the worm .. I Wonder... Mmm Who was the bird and who was the worm.... . Anywayz as we say in Durban vy with it... lets have fun make the best of it.However, I have to admit our table did enjoy the vedas and samoosas over priced n' all'🤔.. Time to visit The July set up and and enjoy the ambiance of The July.. This is where the actual fun is, because thats what the July's all about.. Go drink, bet, chow, fashion, people, cultures etc.. Etc and after party laters 💃, then cry later like a (b... h) afterwards, exactly what I am doing right now😭... Wink,, wink😉😉 someone has to be the fall guy mmmm wasnt me. Anyway moving forward the, Price of liquor was a total shocker as the Cape Tonians say... (JOU MA SE KIND) One liquor bar tried to use the early bird trick... and Tanx to samoosa and veda aunty.. I was having none of it... Because 1xbottle of Bains whiskey R900, which I refused to pay.. It seemed like it was doomsday/armageddon OH! YES ,THE THEME! WAS '''SPACE''' makes total CENTS... the last day on earth.

Nevertheless, I managed to get a bottle of Bains whiskey R600 as there was no Jameson or any other whiskey, That early in the slaughter house (Greyville Racecourse).. First time I ever drank Bains whiskey was at the 2023 July and it tasted worse than Gaveen and thats an armageddon '' shot'' right there (Bains) last dop on earth before the armageddon hits you... After drinking the armageddon whiskey and obviously not winning any money, I was like a floating debris in' 'SPACE' ' on a collision course to nowhere.. Lunch time naturally 1/4 mutton Bunny Chow for all 6xR80 = R480 not bad at all thats a fair price and normal for Hollywood Bets to sell their Bunny Chows at that price.. Theres always a but... The quaters looked like 2 slices height with less gravy and halfway dug out.. But then the bunnies that were being dispatched from the side door looked perfect that bunnies were for the people who bought the expensive tickets for upstairs... Right size extra gravy extra mutton but the people at the bottom were given small quaters, less gravy 2x potato in one bunny and cold curry... If you gonna feed me before the armageddon hits us all,, let us eat and rest in peace, give us that pleasure and assurance of fairness and fun.. In simple terms at this point Your liquor and food had left a bad taste in mouth.

By the evening we spent more, even buying Heineken @,R28 a can jeeez 6pack at R168 Madness... Crazy.. Mark up.. This is were hollywood lost the plot... They were like a space ship in Open Space without a Captain to steer it.. Load shedding hits us in the 10th race as the horses were in the parade ring and had to be sent back to their stables to calm down... as we wait anxiously in our now battered egos, wallets and hoping to gain some money back from the last 3xraces.. We get stuck in time and left in total darkness JUST as it would be in '' SPACE '' you guessed it!!!! Load shedding again... We waited with anticipation hoping to regain some money back but the jockeys did not want to race as it was to dangerous to run if the lights kept going off.. We totally understood their decision well done to the Jockeys.. Safety first

Although we tried to get our cash back from the tote for the 10th race tickets, we were left in SPACE again as you could not cash your ticket, the system was off.... My worst expierence at a July Racecourse 2023 Sponsored by none other than HOLLYWOOD BETS and the theme was "" SPACE"" how fitting...

Sorry cant forgive you for this one.. please how do we fun *****s get our money back... Dont Leave this matter hanging in Open SPACE, it needs to be sorted out asap... Terrible day at July 2023 After Party was madir... Dance Cafe... No stars for Hollywood Bets
