Hi i would like to share my experience I had with Hollywoodbets yesterday. Firstly it all started from Sunday , when they had a promotion , which they were giving 10% bonus on all deposits made on Sunday.I deposited R2000:00 , which I received R200:00 bonus , which was used on betting.I played racing , soccer bets and lucky numbers , I lost the R200:00 bonus given to me and also lost R200:00 of the capital that i deposited , which left me with a balance of R1800:00.I played i won . lost , won , lost . till i made a profit of R600:00 , In total i had a balance of R2600:00 , yesterday when i went to draw out R2500:00 , i was told that i cannot draw out the money , because I was given a bonus of R200:00 and I have use up the entire R2200:00 . this is when hell broke loose , i just would not accept what they told me.I explained to the consultant that i used up the bonus and also capital from my money , before making a profit and to explain to me what is going on. She then done a history on my account , from the time the money was deposited till i asked for a withdrawal and can back to me and said that i made a profit of R2086:00 , Which I can draw out and the reminder i will have to play with from my account. I told her what she is saying does make sense , i asked her , She said to me in order for me to qualify for the R200:00 bonus i will have to spend R2200:00 , before i can make any withdrawals , I told her she is joking with me , and she said no , she then put me through her supervisor Bheki Gnmede and he told me that exact same things she told me, I told him firstly Hollywoodbets should not be giving any bonus to the punters , if they are expecting them to spend the entire money that was put into the account , with the capital.He told me before we go on I must read the T&Cs , section 8 , 9 and 15, I asked him where do i got a copy , he told me in the branch , i requested a copy and they told me that they cannot give me , because it is on the wall upstairs.I asked him to send me a copy ,so i can have a look at it , he said he cannot send me a copy.I told him when the bonus was given , there was no T&Cs on their adverti*****t and if there was any , then the person accepting was supposed to read the T&Cs accepting the bonus , they were supposed to tick the section T&Cs read. I told him he can take the R200:00 bonus back and give me the balance of the money that is in my account , he then agreed and took back the bonus and give me the balance that was in the account, i there after told him that i want to close the account , he transferred to to the lady that closes the accounts and she said that she cannot close my account because i have money in the account , i told her that i made a withdrawal and i took out all the money from the account , she told that the withdrawal did not go through , the teller told me , that she does not have enough money to give me ,she then got the money and paid me up , but the account was not closed .Hollywoodbets always do not have money to pay the punters , they will take money upfront from the punter , but always do not have money to pay big bets out.What makes me sick ,is that these ********* are getting away with ****** and nothing can be done to stop them. They had bought all the bookmarkers in Risthope , Northdale and Allendale , there is no place we can go and enjoy our punting , where there is a good bookmaker and a tote. Hollywood is so gone to great lengths to even buy off the racecoures , trainers . jockeys , judges and gambling board , everyone is on the pay roll.
i would like to share the feed back to the public, regarding the promotion on bonus and payouts.
The agent name is Mbeki , we went through the T&Cs on bonus.
I want the public to know how the bonus works, firstly it is not a promotion for the punter , this works mainly for Hollywoodbets only.
This is how it done , a message comes on the phone that Hollywood is giving the punter 10 , 15 or 20% bonus for the day or week or advertised on all Hollywood pages, and in small print ,T &Cs apply. The T&Cs are not printed on the page or given to the punter on the phone with the promotion. The punter must read section 8 ,9 and 15 of the T&Cs for bonus.
i am going to get to the point , section 15 clearly says that the deposit+ bonus must be turned over before making the first withdrawal , meaning once the capital is deposited into the hollywood account the money belongs to them and not the punter.
The punter can only make a withdrawal if they make a profit equal to the capital + bonus , eg you put in R20000 , you will receive R2000:00 bonus , total amount R22000:00, The punter losses R4000:00 and wants to draw out R18000:00 from his or her a account , they cannot draw the money till they make a profit of the total amount which is R22000:00 or can only draw their winnings. meaning if you won a bet for R100:00 , you can only take a R100:00 and the balance of the money can only be withdrawn when you reach R22000:00.
The chances of every 100 punters making R22000:00 profit is like 1% , the other 99% losses will go to Hollywoodbets , this is clear that hollywoodbets will only benefit from the entire deal , there is only 1 winner , which is hollywood.
I also told them not to misled the public and force a bonus , when they deposit the monies into their accounts . the punter is not aware of what is happening.
I closed my account with hollywoodbets , because they are not trustworthy and transparent in the manner in which they conduct business.
The manager did not like it , when i said i am going to make the public aware of what is happening .
Payouts will not change, the punter will have to wait of their money , hollywoodbets do not have money to pay on winning tickets , it is really sad when it comes to the punter , we all need the money on our winning bets.
What I am very disappointed about is that hollywoodbets are only in Northdale and there is no other book markers in our area , i also told him that they have invaded our space and really made it uncomfotable for all of us living in this area.
i would not blame any other good book maker coming to my area , because they will fail against Hollywoodbets . they cannot compete with them.
