Misleading or ****ming

They are misleading people if they are not ****ming them, I am refering to their handicap. There are 2 types which is minus and plus handicap. they say on minus handicap you minus handicaped goals from real goals scored on the team you handicapped if the remainder is above goals scored by the opponent. They further say on plus handicap you add handicapped goals to the real goals scored by handicapped team. This is an example which makes me think they are misleading us, I played Vissel kobe v Central coast mariners I handicapped Vissel with -3 goals on the game a score was 3:2 favouring Vissel, this supposed to be a lose because if you minus handicapped goals a remainder is 0 while Central Coast scored 2 goals, fair enough on another ticket I handicapped Central Coast with +3 handicapped goals, a final score was 3:2 therefore I add 2 real goals to the handicapped goals and that makes 5 goals which are more than 3 goals scored by Vissel which means it supposed to be a win but it is a loss, if they are not misleading about handicap it means they are deliberately ****ming people, I will suggest that they answer on this.
