Hollywoodbets Ignoring Legitimate Pick 3 Settlement Dispute

I am extremely disappointed with how Hollywoodbets has handled a legitimate betting dispute relating to a Pick 3 bet placed on the Fairview race meeting of 17/04/2026.

The issue is not about the refund itself, but whether the bet was settled correctly according to tote betting rules.

The first leg of the Pick 3 had already been won before the remaining races were abandoned. Based on standard tote principles, the bet had already become “live”, yet Hollywoodbets simply refunded the full stake instead of explaining the rule used to justify that settlement.

For nearly a month, I have been trying to get straightforward answers to the following:

The exact time the Pick 3 pool was declared abandoned Whether the first leg had already started or concluded at that time The specific published rule used to justify a full refund instead of settlement based on surviving combinations

Despite more than 30 emails and repeated assurances that the matter had been “escalated”, nobody has provided direct answers to these simple questions.

Instead:

responses have been generic and repetitive, the actual dispute continues to be ignored, and when I attempted to raise the matter publicly on social media in a factual and respectful manner, my comment was deleted and I was blocked from viewing the page.

The matter has now been escalated to:

Gauteng Gambling Board, National Gambling Board, and 4Racing Disputes.

All I have requested from the beginning is transparency and a proper explanation of the rules app****.

Very disappointing experience from a licensed operator.
