Hollywoodbets Failing to Credit Winnings

I have been a registered user of Hollywoodbets and have generally had no issues when losing bets — my stake is correctly deducted. However, I have experienced a serious problem when winning bets, which has happened twice.

On both occasions:

My bet was accepted and confirmed as winning.

The system returned only my stake, instead of crediting my winnings.

It displayed an “insufficient balance” error, even though my account had sufficient funds.

I raised the issue with a Hollywoodbets consultant initially, but my concerns were dismissed. To document the problem, I recorded my screen during subsequent bets. I have video evidence and screenshots showing the confirmed winning bets, the returned stake, and the error messages.

This issue is serious and financially concerning, as it prevents users from receiving legitimate winnings. I have already escalated the matter to the Gauteng Gambling Board and the National Gambling Board.

I urge Hollywoodbets to investigate this issue, credit affected accounts, and fix their system to ensure this does not happen to other users.
