Delay winnings payment
I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I have received from Hollywoodbets. The delay in removing a voided match from my bet slip is unacceptable and highly frustrating. The match in question was postponed and, to date, has no confirmed rescheduled date. According to standard betting rules, such a match should be voided within a reasonable timeframe. However, my bet slip is still pending, even though all other selections have already won. My winnings are reflecting on the slip, yet the money has not been credited to my account because of this unresolved issue. What makes this even more concerning is that I have sent multiple emails to Hollywoodbets regarding this matter, and I have not received any response. The lack of communication and transparency is very disappointing. I do not understand why it takes so long to remove a match that never took place. This kind of delay is frustrating for customers and creates the impression that the process is intentionally slow, which raises serious concerns about fairness and trust.
I placed a bet and won a total of R3,845. One of the matches on my slip, which had very low odds (around 1.1), was postponed. From my understanding, when a match is postponed and later voided, the system is supposed to adjust the total odds accordingly, not slash your winnings in half.
To my shock, instead of receiving an adjusted payout close to what I rightfully won, I was only paid R1,850. How does that make sense? How does a single low-odds game reduce my winnings by nearly 50%?
This feels completely unfair and misleading. There is no transparency in how this adjustment was calculated, and it honestly feels like customers are being taken advantage of. I trusted the platform to apply standard betting rules fairly, but this experience has completely shattered that trust.
Hollywoodbets is *********** its customers, and it’s honestly sickening. I no longer trust this company, and I strongly believe people need to be warned about how these situations are handled.
I expect a clear explanation and accountability for this payout. Until then, I cannot recommend this platform to anyone, infact I'm reporting this to the gambling board.
