Almost Impossible to Withdraw Your Winnings

Let me start off by saying I'm not some disgruntled gambler. I gamble once a year for a specific sporting event (always very small amounts), and the last time I did so was July 2023.

Now, I've had some money in my HollywoodBets account for a while. I've simply left it there over the years. But now with the cost of living being what it is, I'd like it back. It's not an insignificant amount of money. Let's say it's about enough for a meal at Spur if you're two people having a few drinks, eating a starter, and a main course each. It's not enough money to sue over, or to change your life, but it'd definitely be nice to have on the 29th of the month.

Anyway, amount and history aside.

I've been trying for roughly a month to have money that I won withdrawn from the HollywoodBets site and deposited to me with absolutely no luck. My FICA is up to date and so are my banking details. HollywoodBets doesn't even have the decency to even email you to tell you why your withdrawal isn't even being processed. You won't hear anything from them - you just won't get your money. And if you reach out to customer service, you'll be put into contact with a bot/AI chat assistant who will misunderstand what you need help with anyway. 0/10 would not recommend.

If you're a serious gambler and plan on depositing/withdrawing thousands from the site, I'd steer clear. If I'm struggling to get my relatively small amount of money out of them, imagine how impossible it would be if it was R10k (for example). You're better off lighting your money on fire or flushing it down the toilet.
