Useless Cover

So unfortunately as is customary with the economic times, I was retrenched.

I noticed that on my Edgars account I had been paying an account protection fee since the beginning of time. This apparently covers against loss of income and retrenchment, amongst other things.

I lodged paperwork with Hollard (insurers) immediately so as not to fall behind or damage my credit record. To date have had nothing but a run around.

In the meantime, despite me lodging this claim, Edgars continue to harass me for outstanding amounts despite a pending claim. How long can a claim take to finalize?

In the life of my Edgars account, I'm sure the premiums have long since become greater than my accounts current balance owing.

Threatening me will not change my employment situation (or lack thereof).

I have a policy to cover this. I have submitted the claim and paperwork. Now please settle what is outstanding.

Edgars clients: review hat your being charged for monthly because when you need it most, there WILL be drama.
