Unknown beneficiaries on life insurance policy

I took an Altrisk life insurance policy in May 2010 after losing my husband in an aeroplane accident, to make sure that my kids would be ok if something happened to me.<br> Hollard then took over all Altrisk policies in 2014. After requesting my policy a number of times over the past 2 weeks I finally received it yesterday 3rd November. I immediately noticed that the beneficiary listed was completely unknown to me. I called Hollard call centre in a panic wondering how this happened.<br> On reaching the call centre agent, I could hardly hear a word of what they were saying as it sounded as if there was a party happening in the background. After repeating my ID number a couple of times, the agent asked me if I was sure Carryn Pietersen was not my son.<br> <br> Not only would I like to make it clear that this is extremely concerning (especially considering the reason for the policy in the first place), I'm disgusted at the complete lack of professionalism and explanation of how this happened in the first place! <br> <br> I also wonder how many other previous Altrisk policies have the incorrect beneficiary information.
