INVESTIGATING UNTIL THE ***S COME HOME

I took out a life policy through an insurance broker Reid Raitzer in Durban. There was some ***** dealings with the broker, and I called for all my documents from them, only to realize that the broker had **********ly signed my initials on the documents submitted to Hollard. I brought this to their attention in November 2019. They sent through an investigator in December 2019 who went through everything with me, and took me to get my affidavit signed at the police station. He finalized his report and sent it to whomever. That's the last I heard from Hollard. I've had to phone to follow up on everything. I've had to bug and find people who could give me answers. All I've ever been told is to wait for an investigation to be done, even though one had already been done. I'm so tired of waiting now. Even the national manager whom I had to beg to answer me said she is still waiting. It's been over 6 months. They were all working from home as they were quick to increase premiums during COVID, but they have failed to complete an investigation with allllll the documentation provided.

Don't trust them. Don't trust your broker. And don't think that Hollard are on your side, they just want your premiums every month. If I hadn't paid so many premiums, and been duped by the broker, then I would cancel quickly.

Be very wary of them.
