Hollard making their problems my problem.

If you are looking for funeral cover DO NOT waste your time with Hallard. I took out a Funeral policy for my mother last year and was advised by hollard to include myself in it as it would be cheaper, so i did. Fast forward almost a year later i get a message from hollard telling me that my premiums will increase by 16% . I thought nothing of it because with every other insurance provider in SOUTH AFRICA!!! if they increase your premiums they AUTOMATICALLY INCREASE YOUR COVER AMOUNT. Well not with Hollard. i was told that my cover amount will increase by a whole 16% and my cover amount would remain the same. I asked why is this?? This was Hollards response to me.... "Well a lot of people have died from covid and we had to payout a lot of funds to families"...

Well whose problem is that Hollard??? that sound like a Hollard problem and not MY DAMN Problem!!! What Bull**** is that???

fast forward 4 months later i get a call from a consultant today to confirm my policy details, she further goes on to tell me that my cover amount has slightly increased but that of my mothers has remained the same and WILL NOT increase because apparently she is too old. If Anybody out there is even thinking about taking out cover for their elderly loved one i would like to inform you that whatever cover amount you take out will always remain the same all the while your premiums increase every single year.

Hollard one of 2 things are going to happen here. Either my mothers cover amount is increased in accordance with my premium increase. Or Give me all y premiums back! i have been with AVBOB since 2016 and never had a single issue. When AVBOB increases my premiums they increase my cover amount as well. AVBOB gave me a R7,350 cash back on my fifth year anniversary. So if Hollard cant increase my mothers cover amount please give me all my premiums back and i will go back to AVBOB and take out a second Funeral cover.

I am not reducing my cover amount.
This leaves me with the option to cancel. If I cancel then I demand all my premiums back it is my money after all.
