Hollard insurance increase is robbing
I have been a client of Holland funeral insurance over the past years, my current premium is R431 and now i have just received an sms saying that my premiums are going up on the 1st of August to be R494. This is worse increase i have ever experienced over the years that i have been with them. Where do they think i will get such a money when i am also not getting an increase. It is a day light *******

We acknowledge your disappointment regarding the increase of premiums to your policy.
We consistently relook at whether premiums being paid are sufficient to meet the expected claim payments on an ongoing basis. Upon review of our past claims experience, we have paid out more claims than expected.
Unfortunately, we expect claim payments to be higher in the future as well. This is why we have implemented an unplanned increase of up to fifteen percent to the premium on your policy, in addition to the annual increase applicable.
