HOLLARD FUNERAL POLICY DECLINED
My Domestic workers husband took out a funeral policy at Jet Stores in July 2020 because he was very sick with Heart failure. He made payments up to the end of November (5 payments) He was on oxygen the whole time. When his wife phoned a day or two before he died, she called them and was speaking to Nosisa who said that she needs to make a payment that day at Pep Stores then his policy will be paid for 6 months. She made the payment and Nosisa called her back to say that they got the money and that she should claim when he died (13 April 2021) they declined her claim. They could at least offer her 50% of the policy value after the said that he was covered and that she could claim.

My e-mail address is: *** and the Domestic worker whos husband died is Mary and her telephone number is: ***. She said that his son (from previous marriage) phoned for the claim and they said that he could not claim and that the account was in arrears. She did not complete a claim form after that.
