Hollard definataly does not care for the client during loss when you need them most

My father passed away 16 May 2016. anybody that has lost a parent can relate to this trauma. I had a funeral policy that I took out with Hollard effective 01 November 2015 (stipulated in the policy document). The claim was subsequently repudiated due to the waiting period not haveing elapsed. From November 2015 effective until April 2016 is 6 months and the 6th premium was deducted 25th April 2016. below is a response from Bian Sebaka at Hollard which makes no sense and is clearly a way for the company to not pay:

I understand that the policy had deducted from the month of November and the birth date of the life assured is incorrect, however the birth date of the life assured will not affect the claim, there a means and methods of us resolving by pulling the sales call and identifying where the error had occurred from, “ either from the sales consultant or the client, nevertheless the waiting periods are calculated as follows : depending when the inception date of the policy, we start calculating from month to month from that day we start debiting. So we start counting from the 25th of November 2015 to the 25 December 2015 as 1 month, 25 December 2015 to 25 January 2016 is considered as the second month, Jan to Feb the 3rd month, Feb to Mar 4th month, Mar 2016 to April 2016 5th month. The policy would of completed the waiting period on the 25th of May.

This practise is contradictory to what was said in the policy doument effective date
