Hollard are ********
January 2022 l got a loan through DirectX which was insured under Hollard Premium Group life. I never missed my premium payments. February 2023 l made a claim and they declined based on non payment of premium on 30 June 2020. These are ********, they just pick a reason to decline your claim even if it does not make sense. Insurance taken in 2022 and decline for non payment 2 years before the loan and insurance was taken. Please stay away from these ******** called Hollard.

17 Mar 2023, 17:34I received a call from Vaughn from Direct Axis. There is confusion and ignorance from claims department.
With reference to DAUM106232 claim which is being declined. I worked from year 2012 to 2022. Firstly for the period from year 2012 to 2020 then the company was boughtout including employees from year 2020 to 2022. There was never a break in employment. The claims department declines my claim because they don't expect 2x UI19. They ignored my second UI19 form which is for the company which retrenched me and chose to stick to the first UI19 which is for the company boughtout in year 2020. They have all the documents but still declines regardless. It's really absurd.
It's purely a **** by this insurance company called Hollard. They will try by all means not to pay out your claim.
