Hollard

I had a policy with Hollard life, unfortunately the life covered died when the policy was 6months from the application date, yet 5 premiums dedicated and they refused to pay the claim, the financial advisor I contacted whom helped me in application of the policy said that "he will not even send my claim as I have payed for 5 months" now it confuses me because there is some one I know who had a policy with Sanlam paid 5 months but policy is 6months from inception date and his claim was paid. Now I wish to know why are they saying the waiting period start counting from the date you take the policy, if they will only count from the first premium collection date. I still believe justice was not done now I am thinking of canceling all the policies with hollard. If there is anyone who wishes to help pls contact me on ***
