Good day I have a taken a funeral policy for 2 of my extended family members at Hollard Meadow point branch Jan 2018. I was assisted by Phindile Tshabalala I asked for the fixed premiums. She told that she was unable to do that request because their system did not support that request. Phindile asked me to come back towards the end on the first year before the increase kicks in so that the policies can be amended.

I have visited the same branch yesterday 22/01/2019 to do the changes as previously discussed. The Consultant who assisted me informed that I was unable to do the changes because I’m not the policy holder and payer, I have to bring the policy holders to come do the changes. I was surprised because I’m the one who singed and pay to the policies. I asked the consultant who was assisting me to confirm the signatures on the hard copies, she confirmed that that it is the same signature. I was very irate because what Phindile did id *****, she let to sign for the policies under false pretense just to get the sales.

This totally unacceptable and wrong, my banking details are loaded on these 2 policies and I have been debited by Hollard for 12 months without fail but I’m not loaded as a policy payer, only as a beneficiary. The ********** service that she offered me is totally unacceptable I have consulted for legal assistance on how to go about it as I have signed for those two policies.

The consultant at the branch provided me with Phindle Tshabalala new office contact nr as ********** I have tried calling the number it is not going through. And was informed that she moved t o a different branch (South Gate)
