FAILED TO KEEP OF THE INSURANCE

FAILED TO KEEP PROMISE OF GADGET INSURANCE

Took insurance early 2021 when I bought Alcatel Tab at GAME West Street Durban. Mid-year started performing, could not take it back as they had looted, and store was closed. Tried to reach the Hollard offices unfortunately there was none near me and eventually the phone just died.

Tried to reach Hollard at *** and I was given Suever *** to assist me with my claim. I found that the gadget is registers as a phone, I had to wait while they are changing that. through that process I spoke to two consultants.

I finally made the claim last year, it took them a lot of months to schedule collection the gadget. I received the call for the courier company to say the will collect the gadget on the 07 December 2022, but to collection was made. January 2023 I called them they promised to schedule the collection, 23 January 2023 I received the SMS of the collection schedule, and it was collected on the 31 January 2023 by Dawn Wing. Follow up was made after several time.

I discovered that the gadget hasn't reach their side and was promised that they will ensure that it will be recalled from the collector. on the 11 May 2023 I spoke to the consultant whose name was Nolen who said it is not yet with them, but the matter will be escalated. I followed up today and spoke to the consultant named Pola who told me the same information as Nolen, but said She has consulted, and I would have to contact Dawn Wing to return the gadget because they are not working with that courier company.

Am currently unable to reach Dawn Wing anyone who can assist please assist me and am also wondering what happened to POPIA policy as my information was shared with Dawn Wing without my knowledge.
