Dqy to day hospital plan

I was sold a day to day hospital in 2012, promising to pay R 1000 for each day in hospital but when I requested my policy schedule this year, it was no longer R 1000 bur R226 per day. I pa R 238 for this benefit and it does not make sense to pay more than what you get as a benefit. I complained and was told I will be given feedback once the telephone records have been checked, NOTHING!! This is a complete ******* and I have been wasting my money for 3 years paying for a useless benefit.
