Cover not upgradable because policies are old

I took funeral cover from Hollard in 2006 and I am struggling to upgrade the cover amounts as I am told that they are old policies and I need to apply for new policies and when I apply for new policies my parents do not qualify as they are both over 70 years of age. This is unfair to me as a loyal client that I cannot get a cover that is equivalent to today's market because my policies are old. I need help to upgrade the current cover to my policies.
