Bad Experience and money making scheme.

Bad experience:

I have a cellphone policy with Hollard Insurance through Edgars account. My Vodaphone was damaged and I logged a claim with Hollard Insurance which took them more than 6 months to register. When I went to Edgars store to register my claim I was referred to a telephone line, which after 6 months following up they collected my damaged phone.

I was requested to pay R200 excess fee, which I paid only after three months following up on my claim I was told the phone does not match the IMEI number on their system. I then asked why I was told to pay an excess amount only after three months I am told my phone can't match the IMEI number insured which is strange to me because I did not change the phone. I was told to call another department to fix that, still not being helped. I requested that my phone be returned to me and pay back my excess amount that I have paid. My phone was returned however the excess amount R200, is still not being paid. I am now still expected to pay my monthly insurance fee when I am receiving no services for what I am paying for. I sent emails, no response from Hollard Insurance. No one is assisting me. I keep on being given empty promises. Repairs is blaming Finance department and so on. I am now frustrated asking myself if Hollard Insurance is a **** promising people to open Insurance policies through Edgars account when they know they will be nowhere to be found after taking their insurance.

Now I have lost on both my excess money and cellphone not being repairs as covered in my policy.
