what a joke of a insurence company

<p>My vehicle was attempted car jacked on the 29th July 2016. I managed to disturb the *******. There were extensive damages to my vehicle, inside they striped my entire dashboard and ignition and also stole the computer box. Outside damages to my doors and rear fender and bumper. I could not drive the vehicle so Hollard got their tow company to tow my vehicle to their assessment center. The problem is Hollard only corresponded with me was when I called them querying the progress of my claim. An Asser was only sent out to assess my vehicle today (12th Aug ). The panel beater (DMAC) sent me a quote for the repairs totaling to R 27 000. and the Hollard sent me a quote totaling to R9600. My vehicle is a two years old and i cant see how there is a difference of R18 000. It has gone two weeks and still there is no resolution in repairing my vehicle.
