Utterly Disappointing

My husband was involved in a motor car accident on 05-03-2017. The car was subsequently written off, it was a Toyota Fortuner 2016 model, registered in my name. After an investigation of nearly 2 months, Hollard (the insurance company) decided to settle the claim by either settling the bank or by replacing the car. We opted for replacement of the car. The claim handler at Hollard is Busisiwe Zulu. Since 11-05-2017 we experienced problems with her regarding the progress of the claim. I had to make all the follow up calls between the bank the insurance and the dealership with little to no communication from Busisiwe. Hollard also gave us the option either to go back to the dealership where we bought the car or to go to a new dealership. We opted to go back to our old dealership ( Fosters Toyota ). All paper work according to the sales lady at Toyota was completed and submitted to Busisiwe on Wednesday 28-06-2017 . I also made a follow up call regarding the settlement to the dealership as well as the outstanding insurance premiums . Although the car has been written off in March, Hollard continued to deduct the insurance premium . According to Xolo ,the call agent who assisted me ( Busisiwe was again not available) Busisiwe had undertaken to make the payment to the dealership on Thursday, 29-06-2017 as well as the refund of the premiums. On Thursday afternoon when we arrived at the dealership for delivery of the vehicle, the sales lady showed me an email from Busisiwe whereby she demanded a discount for the car and also threatened to take the deal to another dealership. By Friday, 30-06-2017 the dealership was still not paid nor was the outstanding premiums. I followed up with Hollard at 14h30.Busisiwe was not in for the day. The managers were also not available. I spoke to Eddie , another call agent who did all he could to assist me. To say I am fed up with this situation by Hollard would be an understatement and I am utterly disgusted by the treatment received. Throughout this process I suffered 2 heart attacks, not to mention the strain its put on my family. I doubt ill continue with Hollard as my insurance provider after this ordeal.
