Utter shame and disappointment

I am utterly disappointed with Hollard insurance together with my broker (SA Insurance brokers) I tried to also cc: the insurance broker company but it is not appearing..

We are now approaching the 3rd month and still my claim in not sorted.

On the 6th of November 2022 my vehicle was involved in an accident. I then contacted my broker emediately ( SA insurance brokers. ) who have not been of much help from the day of the accident. I sent my claim forms and was requested to get a settlement amount from my bank in which i did.

On 22/12/2022 I received an email from Nicolene Abraham (***) which was from Hollard insurance stating the amount of money they are willing to pay for the damage. To my suprice there was a deduction from the amount they ought to pay because of high mileage . (Mind you my car is registered under uber) and insured as a commercial/uber vehicle so I do not understand why there was a large amount of money deducted for high mileage when they know very well what the purpose of the vehicle was. On 12/01/2023 I spoke with my broker *** after several attempts to try and get hold of him and eventually he called me back and had said he is trying to sort out the mileage story with hollard insurance and promised to give me feedback on the following day who a week later has not contacted me and when I send a message it gets ignored.I took it upon myself once again to contact the offices then only after I contacted them they told me hollard insurance is refusing to relook at the amount deducted for mileage. I do not get any feedback from anybody unless I’m the one who attempts to contact them then only they respond to me.
