UNACCEPTABLE

Had an incident end February still waiting for authorisation. Not even a single call from Hollard since registering the claim within days. Did get a call and an appoinment was set up with a private invesigator who went to the scene and told me its impossible for the accident to have taken place there and I'm basicly lying(not in so many words) and she will not entertain the claim.. Having then taking her out there myself she now clearly understands that it did indeed take place there and even managed to capture pictures that reflect broken pieces fo the vehicle. Since then which was a week or 2 ago all i have been hearing is that the report has been complete and is waiting to be signed off. Meanwhile i sit with a damaged vehicle that is comprehesively insured and payments been taken for years with a smile but when the time arises to make a claim i am treated like a ******** firslty and then left with no resolution almost a month later. To make matters worse, its not me thats dealing with the insurer but rather my broker and even they cannot get any answers. Friday I heard that the claim was approved but, the authorisation letter now signed but till now I received nothing. I would advise anyone out there considering or having insurance with this company to thoroughly re-consider. The last thing anybody wants after having an unfortunate incident like i did is to be put through this kind of ordeal. I have dealt with many insurers before and never ever had to wait this long or put through this kind of misery before. Its come to a point where i dont want to have anything to do with this insurer anymore and I feel that this kind of practice needs to be exposed.
