Stay away from Hollard, change to Discovery Insure

I have written a reveiw on Hello Peter on the absolutely disgusting service I received from Hollard previously.

After an armed ******* at our home and many months of fighting with Hollard Insurance who I had been with for 17 years without a claim, looked for every excuse not to honour the value of my Insurance.

I still have a case at the Ombudsman regarding Hollard refusing to pay out full value of some earrings that were ****** despite them meeting all terms and conditions of the *******, and being specified and additional premiums being paid for full value over many years. With Hollard ultimayely offering me a little over half

I have not had good experience with this Insurance company. Stay away from them

In contrast, what I can tell you to my most pleasant surprise is, I had a 50 inch TV get damaged by the constant loadshedding we experiencing and within a short time frame, with hardly any fuss or hassle, I just received a phone call from Discovery Insure today, to tell me my TV would be replaced. This is the kind of service one would expect from an Insurance company, , and the ridiculous thing is I have only been with Discovery for approxamitely 2 years only, and with Hollard I had been around for 17 years.
