short term company refuses to pay valid claim

i am with a brokerage scotrho brokers who took me over from my previous insurance company saying they would cover me the same and insured me with Hollard .However they now refuse to pay my claim and are even going to the extent to lie about what the contractor said that caused damage which was storm damage due to heavy rains as well as made a judgement to decline without even assesing the actual roof itself as the assesor didnt have a ladder and neither did i. i have been living in my house for 2 years now and all was fine then after we had all those heavy rains my roof then started to leak, a contractor came out and said the it was due to heavy rains - however hollard and scrothro brokers refuse to now pay when other insurers said they would of paid as its proof in itself the damage was caused by the heavy rains or it would of leaked from the start when i moved in 2 years ago - i have been with this company for 2 years with no claims now all of a sudden i claim and its valid they look for excuses and even lie to avoid paying my claim - saying its not covered because its due to poor workmanship.....be carefull when dealing with hollard and scrothro brokers
