Premium Increase

I had Hollard Motor Extender policy of which I was paying a monthly premium of R227.52, to my surprise the premium was increased to R469.54 of which is more than double what I was paying. How possible is that.<br> Anyway I've decided to cancel to this policy as I felt that the amount was way too much and since I had the policy I've never such an increase
