Hollard unfairly discriminates against domestic workers

The standard burglar alarm warranty on a Hollard insurance policy provides that a burglar alarm must be "activated at all times when the private residence is unoccupied. … The presence of a domestic worker on the property does not constitute occupation”.

Therefore if a domestic worker is working in your home, the alarm must be activated ... but, of course, then it will go off! So it can't be. So you can't be insured. Or you can't employ a domestic worker. What is the premise underlying this clause? Reduce employment in South Africa? Don't trust domestic workers? It is shocking.
