Hollard, the most useless insurance company

For a company that has been selling insurance since we were growing up this is the most useless insurance I've ever heard of.

A certain lady, who unfortunately uses Hollard rammed into me month end of January 2021 when we were entering a shopping center.

First it took almost 2 weeks for her to get through to the liability department to get a claim number because of a very high volume of claims related to the claims related to the tropical storm Eloise. She managed to finally get it in the end of the first week of February. Because i kept my car elsewhere in a different province I only managed to fill in the documentation and submitted it on the 12th of February 2021.

Ever since then, they have used every excuse in the book ranging from having my case assigned someone who was due for leave that same day, their system crashing, the assessment system not sending the right triggers to appointed assesors etc etc.

Sad thing is that I used this car for Bolt occasionally p to make extra cash and my driver has since had to be layed off because that tap has since run dry as a result of the gross incompetence and clear disregard from Hollard.

Long story short, the accident happened on the 30th of January, all documents submitted by the the 12th of February and today, more than 2 months later on April 18th I still have no cooking clue what is happening with the claim.

I literally have to call these guys every 3/4 days to get a different excuse why they haven't registered any progress on that particular claim.

I will never take out any policy with this company even if they were the last company on earth, but rest assured that your clientele will slowly but surely erode if this is what they have to deal with all the time.
