Hollard Motor Extender

I would Not recommend Hollard Motor Extender to anybody, friend or foe. I've had two policies since Aug 16, and this would have been my first claim. This policy is literally a waste of your precious time and hard earned money. Their procedures are the worse and it will frustrate you and the motor dealer even more. They have no sense of time or urgency. It took them 24hrs after receiving report from dealer (garage) with an half hearted response. In my case, the car had a faulty EGR valve that needed replacement as per the diagnostic test which was sent to Hollard. They do not cover the labour for the stripping of the engine that is for your account, then only they will send out an assessor, to do who knows what??? Certainly the reports that the RMI approved dealer, as per their request, sent them should be sufficient??? Long story short and the biggest Joke of all they don't even cover this EGR valve, yet wanted the dealer to strip the engin. I would have paid about R 3000.00 for labour, to get to a part which they don't even cover. Luckily the dealer notified me in time and had the sense not to strip the engin. Needless to say I'm cancelling both my vehicles' policies with them immediately.
