Hollard is the worst insurer.
I have a unit in Castleton Estate Plettenbergbaai. on 2025/03/24 with a big storm rain was forced in through the roof. damage to the ceilings and laminated floors were done. An assessor was sent after numerous queries. He only made mention of the damage to the roof. And only the part of the ceiling that fell. the other damaged parts were not even considered. no mention of the damaged floor. It is now nearly 4 months with no end in sight of when and if the damage will be repaired.
