Hollard Insurance and Edgars Cellphone insurance suc****

In Nov 17 i unfortunately fell into water with my Huawei p9. I thought, luckily i have my insurance through Edgars/Hollard Insurance. I have been paying the insurance for over 5 years and never claimed! I'm insured for a phone to the value of R8000. But suprise suprise Edgars don't stock phones to the value. Either a R5000 or R9500/R10 000 phones....and then still pay the excess.

Hollard should really not offer insurance for a value they can't offer in store. I've decided to take the P10.....but now i have to wait for Edgars stock which i guarantee Edgars will not deliver on.

The service at Edgars canal walk is shocking!!!!!!! I've been helped by 11 different ppl including cellphone department Toufeeq but no one can actually follow through with anything. All just empty promises.

Determined to also end my relationship with Edgars and get rid of my account.

Just to add insult to injury, Edgars still charged me for 4 months insurance even though my P9 was dead!!!! :( :( :(

DON'T EVER TAKE OUT CELLPHONE INSURANCE THROUGH EDGARS OR HOLLARD. They are quick to take your money but CANNOT deliver or follow through!
