Hollard insurance

Just to share with the public the following clause on Hollard vehicle insurance "If your vehicle is still covered by the standard manufacturing warranty will always use new original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts only. After that we may use secondhand or alternative parts of similar age and condition as your vehicle. We may also use new OEM parts or certified parts from other manufacturers."

With the above it is highly possible that the integrity of your vehicle may be compromised and not have the NACAP safety rating anymore.

This is a very dangerous practice and the public should take note of this. I don't say that all insurers are the same but read you're clauses with an open eye.
