Hollard fails to pay insurance on insured item

I had my tablet ****** back in September this year (2017) - so I immediately called the insurance company that deals with claims, Finrite, which is Game's insurance provider underwritten by Hollard.

After being given the run around as usual by an insurer, I was told that I needed an ITC number to claim for the tablet, or provide my personal details as well as a reason why I didn't get a SIM for the tablet.

I explained that the tablet wasn't being used with any requirement for a SIM (wifi at home) so there was no reason to buy one. I provided the required documents and then began the wait. I've waited since all my documentation was provided and submitted on the 2nd October till today to be told I don't have an ITC number so my claim is invalid.

Hollard WILL NOT pay for a ****** tablet because I chose not to put a SIM in it - and was never advised that that would be an issue.
