Hollard fail to pay for my claim

Claim number: ********** Hollard Insurance

My son was at a church gathering 20th July 16 he phoned me to come and fetch him which I did ... On our way back 12:15 a taxi skipped a robot and I had to swerve to the left to prevent a collision I did hit the payment and the taxi didn't stop ..when me and my son got out of the car the car was damage on the left hand side but we could still drive home which we did, We didn't phoned the police because we didn't hit another car and at that time of night I was scared to stand next to the road, as we came in to the yard and turn the wheel bend under neath the car.
I opened my claim at Hollard my Insurance company and also whent to the police station to report it there aswell they came to fetch my car on the 22th July they phoned me on the 26th July to let me know that the quote on the car is R55868.00 and that the excess that I have to pay will be R6000 I told Kelvin that it's fine with me, he also asked me if I want to go ahead with hte claim because I will lose my No-claim rewards, which I told him yes I want to go ahead with the claim .

A few days later Kelvin phoned me again and said that an investigator will phone me because the claim is above R50000.00 they will have to investigate the accident .

This is where everything starts . Robert Venter the investigator Phoned me asked me question and told me he will have to go out the the accident seen.
Then he phoned again and asking me question .. He asked me for bank statement of my son to proof that I am paying for the car.. Which I told them that although the car is on my sons name its my car.. I am the regular driver of the car, I told them this the day that my application was done.. They didn't asked for bank statements at that stage to proof it. Robert Venter did send me 3 email on the 4/08/2016 asking me, my husband, and my son's to sign the papers to give them permission for my MTN Billing documents .. .. In the Police it says under Good faith and regarding my privacy and I quote

1. Good faith

We will always act in good faith in our mutual dealings. If we make an administration error, it will not take away

Any cover you have, or give you any cover that you do not have.

3. Your privacy

We respect the confidentiality of your personal information.

I would appreciate it if you people can help me with this claim..

Reviewer Update

I forgot to add this in my review .. They asked me why didn't I phoned the police , clearly they don't think that the police would have come out that time of night for hitting a pavement.. And I asked them to mark in my police where they stipulate that they have permission to asked for a 3rd party's billing account and bank statements.
