HOLLARD EXTENDED WARRANTY - BEWARE

So I have a 2011 Polo Sedan GP which has outlived my expectations. Around early 2016 I bought the Hollard Motor Extender Policy. Never claimed, made inquiries but never claim from them to date. Another sneaky dealer; Alpine VW in Pinetown serviced my vehicle plus minus two weeks ago. Their findings became a grocery list of problems after I mentioned my warranty to the service advisor. Mind you the car had just gone in for a minor service and has full service history at VW. It made me inquire on the validity of the warranty. Apparently Hollard changed names of business in January 2019 and by doing that their R500 excess charge jumped to R1000 per category. Secondly I just received a yearly policy letter which reflects a11. 8% increase. Not sure if its legal so sent an email with all details to the short term ombudsman to investigate. FYI. I have not claimed from this company and even asked them to refute the claim from Alpine VW Pinetown. Can't understand the excessive increase in excess payments and the large premium increase
