Holland insurance claim

It is with great dissatisfaction with Holland insurance that I logde this complaint, I logged a claim with Holland after I got home my main switch was tripped when I switched it on tried to switch on my amplifier but no sound came out, I also realised that my frigde and microwave weren't working, u then logged a claim firstly a consultant calls me and tells me that the microwave is fine but the amplifier and fridge needs to be replaced she then said she will call me later to discuss replacement quotes.

She then phones later saying that she didn't check the report when she called me, now they can't replace the items because the fault was caused by power surge, I questioned that saying the pamphlet at Edgars showed accidental damage because I don't know what made the main switch to trip, she then said accidental damage is not covered on my policy I then told her it can't be true because I had the pamphlet in my possession, she then asked me to email her the pamphlet, I then asked how can you decline my claim while you don't have the policy with you, she then said she will request the policy wording from their product department I was shocked by this I continously asked how can you decline my claim without having a copy with you however my claim was declined mind you the policy wording was never sent to me at the time of the claim till to date

I was not satisfied with their decision I then took the matter to the ombudsman, the responses they gave to the ombudsman were shocking because they didn't tell me as their client that they have proof that they sent me the policy via MMS, I believe they responded like that to ombudsman so that they win the case , I believe as their clients they should have told me about the proof of them sending me the policy wording, so I only hear that through ombudsman response its rather bizarre

Iam very unhappy how iam being treated by Holland, thinking that I have a funeral policy with them really makes me to seriously consider my relationship with them
