You take out the policy with a R2,000 excess - they unilaterally increase to R3,000 and instead of that resulting in a premium drop they also hike your premium by 20%! No notification - yet they claim they sent it! You query the premium increase when it hits your account and that proves you received notification! The hike is blamed on escalating part costs despite the car value decreasing. You pick this up when your car gets ****** and now they won't pay per the contract you entered into. Need the car hire option - you don't get the matched vehicle but a Hyundai i10. You don't get the 20 days you paid for they give you 18. Don't expect help to get it when the car is ****** over the weekend - phone on Monday is the reply only if you break down within 100km of home will they help.
