EVERYTHING IS AN EXCLUSION

When I purchased a dog, i immediately took out pet insurance and noted that there are a number of items that are not covered due to breed exclusions - so noted them however still believed I needed this insurance. <br> <br> My dog went in for an operation due to an injury and because it was related to his legs which were injured, they said the breed has a weakness with their legs so excluded - my dog would not have had this, had he not been injured ? ? yes if it was due to a weakness i would say that it would be excluded. So basically what they are saying is that most dogs have issues with their legs and hips and as such nothing is covered. <br> <br> Every claim that I have managed to get out has been a fight with numerous phone call and e-mails - they always find an excuse for not paying - I have paid over R3000 in premiums and out of the claims submitted been paid R1000. Should rather just put the money in a savings account. <br> <br> I signed up for this so if I got a vet bill for an unforseen injury of R10k it would be paid not excluded because it relates to the leg. <br> <br> Their slogan is Dont worry, be hollard - really, it should be we dont worry about anything as we dont pay out anything
